This is a large and lovingly hand sewn gathered lampshade. The frame is an empire shape, (ie the top ring half the size of the base ring) and fits on a standard lamp base (as pictured) or a large desk or table lamp base. It has a duplex fitting, meaning it can also be used as a pendant/ceiling lampshade.

The fabric is a dark blue design block printed onto a white cotton fabric of good quality, and it has a white lycra balloon lining. The trim around the top and base is also a block printed hand made bias in white out of dark blue.

Please note that if you wish to use this shade for a lamp base you will need a shade carrier, or a ceiling shade, a spider fitting (both available from lighting shops, or online at dannells.com).
