This is a large pink pleated chiffon vintage lampshade that has the sunburst design on both sides. The frame is an unusual shape in that is has a large scallop or cut-away front and back top ‘ring’. The chiffon has been touched from the middle of the frame and all the fabric pleated and fanned outwards towards the edges. The shade has a creamy silky fringe around the base and a simple trim around the top. Inside the shade you can see the creamy white pain fabric that has been placed under the chiffon, giving it a lovely warm light when lit. This lampshade has a a duplex fitting, which means is suitable for a standard lamp base or huge table lamp (you will need a shade carrier for this) or as a ceiling or pendant lampshade - you will need a spider fitting for this, both easily available from lighting shops or online.

There are issues with this shade (see images) - a dark mark and a tear, but providing this is hidden it is wonderful! The price has been calculated to reflect this.

Vintage condition - as above, please note there is a dark marked area with a split (approx 4cm x 2cm) on one area, and generally as appropriate for its age, various small markings or dark areas. Inside the lining has marks and a water mark but these are not visible from the outside. This has been reflected in the price for this still lovely lampshade.
