Yuzen Washi also known as Japanese Chiyogami Paper is a beautiful medium for lampshades - they often have a 5 colour base (the fifth being sliver or gold) which really zings out when the shade is lit. This lampshade has been made using a very pretty yellow washi paper, it has small white flowers drifting across the design, and there are golden stems too. Inside, the laminate lining is clear, and therefore the cream warmth of the paper is reflected giving a beautiful light,

This lampshade has a duplex fitting, meaning it can be used for either a table lamp base (you will need a shade carrier for this) or as a ceiling pendant (you will need to buy a spider fitting for this).
