Lampshade in Peony and Prunus paper with The V & A

£69.00

The Lampshade Loft brings you a lovely range of contemporary lampshades made from exquisite papers which are perfectly patterned to add colour and character to your home. We are proud to collaborate with the V&A combining our lampshade skills with this wonderful design. This bold penny and prunus pattern is by Lindsay Phillip Butterfield (1869-1948), one of the most successful freelance designers of patterns who worked in the Arts & Crafts style. It shows fine draftsmanship and passion for nature that are typical of the Movement’s textile designers. Museums and galleries recreated the pattern from an unfinished textile design in the V&A archive.

Listed here is the empire shade, which is suitable for a desk or table lamp only (not as a ceiling shade) but they can be made in different shapes and styles using this paper, please let me know what you are looking for.

Size: base ring 25cm, top ring 15cm. The shade has a white lining inner, and has a cotton bias trim in coral to match the wonderful colours. The shades are made using flame retardant materials however we recommend using an LED or low wattage bulb.

Please allow two weeks for delivery as your shade will be made by hand for you.
