Paper lampshade 'Charlston Roundel'
Paper lampshade 'Charlston Roundel'
The Lampshade Loft brings you a lovely range of contemporary lampshades made from exquisite papers and this home grown design from the wonderful UK designer Cambridge Imprint is a true winner. ‘Charlston Roundel’ was designed in 2019 for the Charleston Trust. Charleston was the Sussex farmhouse of Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant and the house is filled with the paintings and sculptures of the two artists. but Bell and Grant also decorated every surface of the house including the lampshades! This lampshade has been made by hand adhering the paper onto a fire retardant lining with a cotton mix trim in yellow (but please ask for other colours if you prefer them).
These empire shades come in different sizes (see drop down menu below for sizes) with a standard EU/UK fitting the base ring (they are suitable for table or desk lamps only, not as ceiling or pendant shades) - however please email me if you prefer a duplex fitting (see FAQs page for more info) or a different size.
The contemporary lampshades are made using fire retardant materials however we recommend using a low wattage or LED bulb.
This shade will be hand made for you so please allow two weeks for delivery.
